Anti-HPV Drug Discovery Products

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a member of the Papillomaviridae family. It can cause a wide range of human diseases including oral warts, anal warts, genital warts, and cervical cancer. There are more than 100 different types of HPV that are further classified as high-risk or low-risk HPV types. Genital warts are usually caused by low-risk HPV types (e.g., HPV 6 and 11). Cervical cancer is caused by high-risk HPV types (e.g., HPV 16, 18, 31, 33, and 45). Vaccines against HPV have been developed to protect against infection by these high-risk types and be effective in preventing precancerous lesions and cervical cancer in clinical trials.

The genome is a circular double-stranded DNA that encodes eight open reading frames, including the early genes and the late genes. The structural proteins including the major capsid protein (L1) and the minor capsid protein (L2) form the icosahedral capsid of the virus.

At Creative Biolabs, we provide various anti-HPV antibody products. Our products are designed to help researchers detect and study HPV infection and its associated health problems.
