Anti-ZIKA Drug Discovery Products

Zika virus (ZIKV) belongs to a member of the Flaviviridae family and Flavivirus genus. The virus, primarily transmitted through Aedes mosquitoes, poses a threat to humans, particularly pregnant women and developing fetuses. Its small, single-stranded RNA genome encodes both structural and non-structural proteins, with key targets including the viral envelope protein and NS3 helicase. The structural proteins form the outer shell of the virus and include the envelope (E) protein, which plays a key role in viral entry into host cells. The NS3 helicase protein, which is involved in unwinding the viral RNA for replication, is a key target for antiviral drugs.

Although no specific antiviral treatment exists, prevention strategies focus on mosquito control and barrier methods. At Creative Biolabs, we provide anti-Zika virus antibody products for researchers. Our antibodies can be used for a variety of applications, including ELISA, Western blot, and immunohistochemical staining.
