ViroProbe™ Digoxigenin-labeled HPV 31/33 Probe, 40 tests
This HPV 31/33 Probe is a mixture of HPV type 31/33 probes. The probe is specific for the detection of HPV types that have been associated with either condyloma or cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and carcinoma in situ (CIS). The probe can be used for the qualitative detection of HPV 16/18 DNA in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded specimens by chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH). The probe is for HPV infections research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis.

Some HPV infections can stay in the body and lead to complications, including genital warts. HPV infection may also cause more serious conditions, such as certain types of cancer. The 14 most cancer-causing HPV types include types 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66 and 68. |
