How Do Vaccines Work?
Antiviral vaccines are one of the most effective tools to protect people from viral infections by stimulating the body's immune response. They are designed to produce the antibodies to help fight future infections and offer long-lasting, even lifetime protection. Following vaccination or virus infection, the body defends itself by producing antibodies. IgM antibodies, which appear weeks to a month, usually are made first after inoculation, followed by IgG, which appears a few days after IgM and lasts a long time even the rest of that person's life. The outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 infections has accelerated the development of the COVID-19 vaccine. Laboratory testing of vaccine serum helps to understand research related to virus pathogenesis, immunity, and vaccine development.

Our Virus Vaccine Serum Products

- Yellow Fever Virus (YFV) Vaccine Serum
Creative Biolabs offers serum samples that are collected from the donors before, and after the vaccination series (2 weeks, 6 weeks, 6 months, and 12 months) to allow for the assessment of IgM and IgG responses across broad response profiles. The samples at the 2-week time point post-immunization contain anti-YFV IgM antibodies. Serum samples obtained from donors taken 6 weeks, 6 months, and 12 months post-immunization are suitable as a source of anti-YFV IgG antibodies.
- Japanese Encephalitis Virus (JEV) Vaccine Serum
We provide IgG serum obtained from a recipient of the JEV vaccine, prior to their immunization and 6 months post-immunization, respectively.
