pseuFastNeut™ Platform

Live virus testing is considered the gold standard for virology research but is limited because it requires biosafety level-3/4 (BSL-3/4) laboratories. Pseudoviruses are a universal and safe alternative for live viruses and have become useful virological tools for emerging and re-emerging viruses. Based on our experience in pseudovirus production and expertise in virology, we have developed a pseuFastNeut™ platform for neutralizing antibody development. Our platform is available for the screening of different antibody candidates, the determination of neutralizing antibody titer, development and evaluation of vaccines. Our platform is optimized to provide information on virus entry mechanisms, virus inhibition pathways, and cellular tropism mechanisms. This assay can be performed in BSL-2 facilities because of the unique properties of pseudoviruses. The prospective neutralizing antibody candidates screen or verify by the detection of reporter gene expression of target cells.
