ViroProbe™ Human Papillomavirus 82 Probe
Creative Biolabs provides probes that can amplify target-specific signals and detect RNA target expression with high sensitivity and specificity. This probe is specific for the detection of human papillomavirus 82 (HPV82) which is associated with invasive cervix cancer and squamous cell carcinoma. It is designed to target HPV82 RNA in cellular and tissue environments in situ hybridization. The probe is for HPV82 research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis.

Full Name : | Human papillomavirus 82 |
Introduction : | Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a DNA virus from the Papillomaviridae family. More than 200 types of HPV have been recognized. They do not cause any problems in most case. Some HPV infections can stay in the body and lead to complications, including genital warts. HPV infection may also cause more serious conditions, such as certain types of cancer (eg. cervical cancer). HPVs can also be grouped to high-risk and low-risk HPV types according to their oncogenic potential. Evidence suggests that cervical cancer is restricted to high risk HPV, such as (16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58 and 59) or possibly carcinogenic types: (68, 26, 30, 34, 53, 66, 67, 69, 70, 73, 82, 85 and 97). |
