ViroProbe™ Human Papillomavirus 6/11 Probe

Creative Biolabs provides probes that can amplify target-specific signals and detect RNA target expression with high sensitivity and specificity. This probe is specific for the detection of human papillomavirus 6/11 (HPV6/11) which is associated with benign lesions presenting as condylomas and mild dysplasia. It is designed to target HPV6/11 RNA in cellular and tissue environments in situ hybridization. The probe is for HPV research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis.

Full Name : Human papillomavirus
Introduction : Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a DNA virus from the Papillomaviridae family. They do not cause any problems in most case. Some HPV infections can stay in the body and lead to complications, including genital warts. HPV infection may also cause more serious conditions, such as certain types of cancer. HPV 6 and HPV 11 are low-risk types of HPV. HPV 6 and 11 are most often detected in benign condylomas and low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions of the cervix.
