ViroProbe™ Human Immunodeficiency Virus 1-Z3678M Probe-Sense

Creative Biolabs provides probes that can amplify target-specific signals and detect RNA target expression with high sensitivity and specificity. The probes can be designed to target the sense or antisense sequences. Standard probes for RNA detection are in antisense. Sense probe is reverse complement to the corresponding antisense probe. This HIV1-env probe is designed to target Human immunodeficiency virus 1 (HIV) isolate Z3678M RNA in cellular and tissue environments. The probe can be used in situ hybridization. The probe is for HIV1 infection research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis.

Target Details

Full Name : Human immunodeficiency virus 1
Accession number : KR820393.1
Target Region : 546-8991
Introduction : HIV-1 is a retrovirus, belonging to a group of heterogeneous, lipid-enveloped RNA viruses. HIV subverts the immune system by infecting CD4+ T cells. Over time, they cause acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). The HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein (Env), a glycoprotein of 160 kD (gp160), is an essential structural component of the virus and is solely required for binding and entry into host cells.
Alternative Names : Human immunodeficiency virus 1; HIV1; HIV1-Z3678M
