Retro-SARS-CoV ORF1 a/b & E & N Pseudovirus
SARS-CoV ORF1 a/b & E & N pseudovirus is generated by co-transfection 293T cells with retroviral vector and plasmid encoding partial ORF1 a/b, E and N genes of SARS-CoV. The supernatants were harvested at 64 hours post transfection. The supernatants are centrifuged to remove cell debris and passed through filter to get pseudovirus. The pseudovirus consists of retrovirus envelope and SARS-CoV ORF1 a/b & E & N. They can be used as a positive control for viral RNA extraction experiement and qPCR testing. Pseudoviruses are useful virological tools because of their safety and versatility.

Target Details
Introduction : | Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), caused by SARS coronavirus (SARS-CoV), is a kind of respiratory viral diseases. It was first reported in 2003. SARS-CoV is an enveloped, positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus and belongs to the β coronavirus. It has been demonstrated that SARS-CoV can infect epithelial cells within the lungs through binding to the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (hACE2) receptor. |
Alternative Names : | SARS-CoV, SARS, S, Spike, Pseudovirus, Spike Pseudovirus, S Pseudovirus, SARS-CoV Spike Pseudovirus, SARS-CoV S Pseudovirus, SARS Spike Pseudovirus, SARS S Pseudovirus |
