Retro-SARS-CoV Spike Pseudovirus [Luciferase, HIV-1 Packaging System]
SARS-CoV spike pseudovirus is produced by cotransfecting HEK293 cells with Pqcxix that has been engineered to insert a luciferase gene, SARS-CoV spike protein-encoding vector, and gag/pol expression plasmid using Lipofectamine 2000 (Invitrogen). Pseudovirus-containing supernatant was harvested 48 h following transfection. The supernatant was cleared of cell debris by centrifugation and filtered through a 0.45-μm-pore-size filter.

Target Details
Introduction : | Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is a viral respiratory disease of zoonotic origin caused by SARS-CoV or SARS-CoV-1 infections. SARS-CoV is an enveloped, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA virus. The virus enters the host cell by the binding to the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor. |
