Retro-SARS-CoV-2 ORF1 a/b & E & N Pseudovirus
SARS-CoV-2 ORF1 a/b & E & N pseudovirus is generated by co-transfection 293T cells with retroviral vector and plasmid encoding partial ORF1 a/b, E and N genes of SARS-CoV-2. The supernatants were harvested at 64 hours post transfection. The supernatants are centrifuged to remove cell debris and passed through filter to get pseudovirus. The pseudovirus consists of retrovirus envelope and SARS-CoV-2 ORF1 a/b & E & N. They can be used as a positive control for viral RNA extraction experiement and qPCR testing. Pseudoviruses are useful virological tools because of their safety and versatility.

Target Details
Introduction : | An outbreak of a novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19; previously known as 2019-nCoV) was reported since last December, 2019. Now COVID-19 is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation, and has become a pandemic.SARS-CoV-2 consists of four structural proteins, including S (spike), E (envelope), M (membrane), and N (nucleocapsid) proteins. S, M and E proteins create the viral envelope together, and N protein holds the SARS-CoV-2 RNA genome. |
Alternative Names : | SARS-CoV-2, 2019nCoV, COVID-19, S, Spike, Pseudovirus, Spike Pseudovirus, S Pseudovirus, SARS-CoV-2 Spike Pseudovirus, SARS-CoV-2 S Pseudovirus, COVID-19 Spike Pseudovirus, COVID-19 S Pseudovirus |
