Lenti-SFTSV G1/G2 Pseudovirus [GFP, VSV Packaging System]
The 293T cells expressing G1 and G2 envelope proteins of SFTSV were infected with VSVΔG* which encodes the GFP gene. After 24 h the infected cell supernatants were collected and the pseudotyped viruses were purified by centrifugation through sucrose density gradients. The produced pseudoviruses carry SFTSV G1 and G2 proteins, which is a powerful tool for SFTSV envelope protein function, vaccine development and entry inhibitor research.

Target Details
Introduction : | Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV) is a tickborne virus (genus Phlebovirus, family Phenuiviridae) that can cause hemorrhagic fever. Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) was confirmed in China in 2009 and then retrospectively reported in South Korea in 2012 and in western Japan in 2013. SFTSV glycoprotein (SFTSV-GP) is the only viral surface protein, and is solely responsible for receptor binding and mediating fusion of viral and host membranes during viral entry. SFTSV-GP is a promising target for anti-SFTSV drug development. |
Alternative Names : | SFTSV G1/G2 Pseudovirus; G1/G2; G1; G2; SFTSV |
