Lenti-MACV GP Pseudovirus [EGFP, MLV Packaging System]
Lenti-MACV GP Pseudovirus is produced by transfecting 293T cells with MLV gag/pol, pQCXIX-EGFP, and an MACV GP expression plasmid. Pseudovirus-containing supernatant was harvested 48 h following transfection. The supernatant was cleared of cell debris by centrifugation and filtered through a 0.45-μm-pore-size filter. The produced pseudoviruses carry MACV GP, which is applied for studying mechanism of virus entry, antiviral mechanism and screening antivirus inhibitor.

Target Details
Introduction : | Machupo virus (MACV), also known as Bolivian hemorrhagic fever virus, is a highly contagious and often deadly virus that belongs to the Arenaviridae family. The virus is primarily transmitted to humans through contact with infected rodents. Human-to-human transmission is possible through direct contact with blood, bodily fluids, or contaminated surfaces. The envelope glycoproteins of MACV are key players in its infectivity and pathogenesis. These glycoproteins are also a major target for neutralizing antibodies generated by the host immune system. |
Alternative Names : | Machupo virus GPC Pseudovirus; GPC; Machupo virus; MACV |
