Lenti-Hantavirus G1/G2 Pseudovirus [Luciferase, VSV Packaging System]
The 293T cells expressing G1 and G2 envelope proteins of Hantavirus were infected with VSVΔG* which encodes the luciferase gene. After 24 h the infected cell supernatants were collected and the pseudotyped viruses were purified by centrifugation through sucrose density gradients. The produced pseudoviruses carry Hantavirus G1 and G2 proteins, which is a powerful tool for Hantavirus envelope protein function, vaccine development and entry inhibitor research.

Target Details
Introduction : | Hantaviruses are a family of viruses spread mainly by rodents and can cause varied disease syndromes in people worldwide. Infection with any hantavirus can produce hantavirus disease in people. Hantaviruses in the Americas are known as "New World" hantaviruses and may cause hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS). Other hantaviruses, known as "Old World" hantaviruses, are found mostly in Europe and Asia and may cause hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS). |
