Lenti-Hantavirus G1/G2 Pseudovirus [β-Galactosidase, MLV Packaging System]
Lenti-Hantavirus G1/G2 Pseudovirus is produced by cotransfecting 293T cells with the plasmid inserted G1 and G2 proteins, pcGP (MLV gag-pol), pcnbG (MLV LTR) and a β-Galactosidase reporter gene. pRSV-Rev. Pseudovirus-containing supernatant was harvested 48 h following transfection. The supernatant was cleared of cell debris by centrifugation and filtered through a 0.45-μm-pore-size filter. The produced pseudoviruses carrying Hantavirus G1 and G2 proteins is a powerful tool for studying mechanism of virus entry, antiviral mechanism, neutralization antibody assay, and screening antivirus inhibitor.

Target Details
Introduction : | Hantaviruses are a family of viruses spread mainly by rodents and can cause varied disease syndromes in people worldwide. Infection with any hantavirus can produce hantavirus disease in people. Hantaviruses in the Americas are known as "New World" hantaviruses and may cause hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS). Other hantaviruses, known as "Old World" hantaviruses, are found mostly in Europe and Asia and may cause hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS). |
Alternative Names : | Hantavirus G1/G2 Pseudovirus; G1/G2; G1; G2; Hantavirus |
