Lenti-TCRV GP Pseudovirus [EGFP, MLV Packaging System]
Lenti-TCRV GP Pseudovirus is produced by transfecting 293T cells with MLV gag/pol, pQCXIX-EGFP, and an TCRV GP expression plasmid. Pseudovirus-containing supernatant was harvested 48 h following transfection. The supernatant was cleared of cell debris by centrifugation and filtered through a 0.45-μm-pore-size filter. The produced pseudoviruses carry TCRV GP, which is applied for studying mechanism of virus entry, antiviral mechanism and screening antivirus inhibitor.

Target Details
Introduction : | Tacaribe virus (TCRV) is a member of the Arenaviridae family, which primarily affects rodents and has been isolated in various countries in the Americas. It was first discovered in 1956 during an outbreak of hemorrhagic fever in Trinidad and Tobago. The virus is primarily transmitted through contact with infected rodents. TCRV infection in humans can lead to a range of symptoms, including fever, headache, muscle aches, joint pain, and rash. In severe cases, it can develop to hemorrhagic fever with symptoms such as bleeding, organ failure, and even death. However, the majority of TCRV infections in humans are thought to be asymptomatic or cause only mild illness. |
