Target Details

Full Name : Bat Hepatovirus
Target Region : 984-2843
Introduction : Hepatovirus is a genus of ssRNA+ viruses in the Picornaviridae family. The genus Hepatovirus consists of nine species (Hepatovirus A-I). In the genus Hepatovirus, hepatitis A virus (HAV) is the only species that affects humans and primates. Recently, genetically diverse hepatoviruses were reported from bats, rodents, hedgehogs, and shrews worldwide. Interestingly, bat hepatovirus appears to be hepatotropic and antigenically related to human HAV.
Alternative Names : Hepatovirus; Bat Hepatovirus; BtHAV
Virus Subtype : Bat Hepatovirus
