Lenti-Influenza H5N1 virus HA/NA/M2 Pseudovirus [Luciferase, HIV-1 Packaging System]
Lenti-Influenza H5N1virus HA/NA/M2 Pseudovirus is produced by cotransfecting 293T cells with the vector inserting HA, NA, and M2 cDNA, pHR'-CMVLuc, and pCMVR8.2. Pseudovirus-containing supernatant was harvested 48 h following transfection. The supernatant was cleared of cell debris by centrifugation and filtered through a 0.45-μm-pore-size filter. The produced pseudoviruses carrying H5N1 HA/NA/M2 is a powerful tool for studying mechanism of virus entry, antiviral mechanism, neutralization antibody assay, and screening antivirus inhibitor.

Target Details
Introduction : | H5N1 is a subtype of the species Influenza A virus of the genus Alphainfluenzavirus of the family Orthomyxoviridae. Like all other influenza A subtypes, the H5N1 subtype is an RNA virus. It has a segmented genome of eight negative sense, single-strands of RNA, abbreviated as PB2, PB1, PA, HA, NP, NA, MP and NS. HA codes for hemagglutinin, an antigenic glycoprotein found on the surface of the influenza viruses and is responsible for binding the virus to the cell that is being infected. NA codes for neuraminidase, an antigenic glycosylated enzyme found on the surface of the influenza viruses. It facilitates the release of progeny viruses from infected cells. |
